We've taken one of our favourite varieties of Millets and taken the trouble out of soaking and cooking. We’ve pre-prepped it for you!

Kodo millet has a unique nutty flavour that is perfect alongside traditional favourites. Picture it with shepard’s pie, a base for a stir-fry or accompanying a hearty chicken tikka masala. Give rice and potatoes a break for your next meal.

Ingredients

Water, Kodo Millet, Sunflower Oil

Preparation Instructions

Microwave:
Squeeze pouch to separate and break up the millet grains. Open the pouch and add 2 - 3 tablespoons of water. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes or until the millet is heated through.

Stove Top:
Squeeze pouch to separate and break up the millet grains. Empty the contents into a saucepan. Add 2 - 3 tablespoons of water. Heat on a medium heat, stirring occasionally and with a lid over the pan for 4-5 minutes.

Add salt, pepper and any other seasoning to your taste.

Fluff the heated millet with a fork and serve!
